Michael B. Losow, JD, MPA

Michael Losow has more than twenty-five years of experience in forging strategic relationships among leading health/science organizations and government offices to address critical issues, such as access to health care and technologies, reimbursement and cooperative research. He offers an insider's perspective and expertise, with tenures in government, healthcare and advocacy. Michael has built alliances among nearly 300 organizations with this national biotechnology trade association around health care policy issues.

Prior to that he was Director of Government Relations at National Industries for the Severely Handicapped, lobbying Congress and executive agencies on federal disability and employment issues. He created and computerized a grass-roots lobbying network, allowing NISH to respond in a swift, broad and inclusive manner to legislative and regulatory issues. Prior to that he was Director of State Government Relations at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a 500,000 member advocacy organization, creating and directing national a grass-roots lobbying network focusing on federal and state issues that increased membership dramatically.

Michael has a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law, a M.P.A from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Administration, Syracuse University, and a B.A. Political Science Cum Laude from Union College, Schenectady, New York.
