Eric Schvimmer provides expert guidance on technology organization, strategy, and assessment services as well as advisory executive support to clients with an emphasis in the online space. From 1999 until 2006 Mr. Schvimmer served as Vice President of Technology at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive where he was responsible for all technology, technical operations, and software development used to produce Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive's portfolio of websites: Washingtonpost.com, Newsweek.com, Slate.com, Budgettravelonline.com, and Readexpress.com. Prior to his role as Vice President of Technology, Mr. Schvimmer served as Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive as well as Deputy Director of Newsroom Systems at The Washington Post newspaper. Prior to joining the Post, Mr. Schvimmer worked as a member of the technical staff for Viar & Company in Alexandria, Virginia and as a programmer analyst with MCI in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Schvimmer is a past board member of the DC Technology Council and NPower DC. He is a 1986 graduate of Old Dominion University and has worked in the information technology field for 20 years.
