Inspire builds online health communities for nonprofit health organizations--free of charge.
The communities, each designed and branded for an individual nonprofit, offer the organization’s constituents safe, secure ways to communicate among themselves—and to access high quality information provided by the nonprofit.
Communities serve as entry points to each nonprofit’s own web site—thus providing the organization with a simple, straightforward way to reach potential new members or participants; to survey members and to apprise them of new services or programs. Inspire communities provide strict privacy and confidentiality protection. We also supply discussion moderators, moderation training, and technical support, all at no charge. Most Inspire communities are currently supported by foundations or tasteful advertising—with 10 per cent of all advertising fees donated to our nonprofit partners. Organizations that do not accept advertising may work with us on a fee-for-service basis. In the future, Inspire will offer survey research or clinical trial notification services to organizations or businesses seeking to reach community members who opt, voluntarily, to participate in such programs.
